Master Sergeant Virginia P. Simmons is a native of Hinesville, Georgia. She entered the U.S. Army in April 1998, attending Basic and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. MSG Simmons assumed duties as the Deputy Commandant of the 168th Regiment (Regional Training Institute) 1 September 2016.
